Baby Yani's 3rd Birthday Bash!

After a tiring and a failure bid to gather students for STI at New Lucena and Sta. Barbara we excitedly went to the 3rd birthday bash of baby Yani at their residence in Arevalo. The party started at 6pm and the invited kids enjoyed the games and foods a lot. Of course, the not so young guests enjoyed the party also.

Enrollment Marathon of TESDA

On June 25, 2009 we are tasked to participate in the late enrollment marathon of TESDA. Cheryl and I was assigned in New Lucena while Mafebel Catedrilla and Janice Benliro was assigned in Sta. Barbara.
Personally, that enrollment marathon was a failure for as STIers' because it was intended for short term courses only and our course is not marketable. Added fact that we arrive late, my gosh, it was a big failure not only with TESDA but with the administrator of STI who caused all the delays!
A BIG FAILURE!

STI Orientation 09

Last June 24, 2009, STI Iloilo oriented their freshmen and transferee students to the rules and regulations of the prestigious institution.
Due to bad weather, instead of doing it at STI grounds, we had it room to room carousel type of orientation. One group started in room 201, the other one in room 202 and the last one in room 203.
It was a success!

I miss my IDC Friends

After months of not seeing each other, Donald De La Torre and John Martinez my buddies in Iloilo Doctors' College (when I was still with that institution) met and had a sumptuous dinner at Mat- Mat's Talabahan in Arevalo District.

ILOPRISAA ANNUAL MEETING@CENTRAL

While at Jollibee SEEDS orientation at Quintin Salas branch, I was restless and could not concentrate because I have to attend another meeting and that is the ILOPRISAA ANNUAL MEETING.

So at 8:45 am I excused myself and rush to CPU for the meeting and as usual the President and auditor's report was discussed. It ended with an election of board of trustees and a heavy snack.

Jollibee SEEDS Trainees Orientation and Signing of MOA

O who applied for n June 10, 2009, I received a good news that out of many STIersJollibee SEEDS program only three passed! For me, it was a good news because the screening was really tough and (rough)!

They were Mark Joephiny Arguez, Jose Marie Balani, and Mark Roend Larupay who is not new with Jollibee food service. Mark Roend is a former crew member of Jollibee.

The orientation started at exactly 8am at Jollibee Quintin Salas branch, together with the parents they listened to the speaker about Jollibee and what they're children can benefit from it.

The food is so good and yummylicious! The Best!

Good luck to you who made it to the SEEDS Program!

My Teacher's Back Home in Heaven

Last May 22, 2009 my teacher in graduate studies in CPU died of cardiac arrest. We were surprised of the sad news because she is young at the age of 60.

I was doubly sad because I still have requirements to submit to her which she will never had a chance to give me a grade. Huhuhu!

I was at her wake last night at the University Church and I was teary-eyed to see my teacher inside the coffin.

Ma'am, may your soul rest in peace!
