It's Not What I Thought...

This morning is another heart wrenching experience for me.
The guy brought his pregnant girlfriend in my office to my big surprise. It was unexpected. I don't know what to do and what to say, but of course, my nature as a best actor/actress came out.
I pretended that everything is okay though my heart bleeds so badly. Hay....
When the girl was introduce to me, I boost my confidence to say hi and give her a warm smile but what happen, the girl was so shy that she did not even look at me. My gosh... I think she needs a lot of boost to level up her to my personality.
It's not what I thought that I could face his girlfriend so soon, but I was wrong, it gives me another sleepless night and wrenching heart... huhuhu

Noel attended the SEEDS Program Orientation at Sarabia Manor...

Last March 27, 2009, I attended an orientation program of Jollibee Food Corporation and Department of Labor and Employment at Sarabia Manor Hotel and Convention Center regarding their thrust on aiding poor but deserving students in their studies.

Each child will receive P12,000 for tuition fee and an additional amount will cover their transportation allowance. In exchange, children chosen for the project will be hired as apprentices or service crew of the food chain and this will form part of their training.

Aborted Mission at Guimaras!

Last march 27, 2009, I was suppose to go to Guimaras to supervise the installation of congratulatory streamers to the different schools of the province. To my dismay it was canceled because the budget for the work is not sufficient.

I was really disappointed because I was already in an island hopping- beach attire! Gosh!

All about Ives!

Last night after a gruelling Saturday work some of the staff and faculty of STI- Iloilo decided to have a sumptuous dinner at Andok's Manokan at Lapaz district and when were about to go home, Mr. Ives Negre text me if I prepared his oratorical speech for his removal exam on Monday and I said yes. So he decided to see me at Andoks, but when he arrived we asked him if he could treat us to a bottle of wine at Ralph's Wine at General Luna Street near Sarabia Manor. Without much further hesitations, we went to Ralph's wine and had a bottle of wine.
I love it!

On March 17, 2009, STI- Iloilo through the Office of the Guidance Counselor conducted a one-day seminar on Resume Writing, Power Dressing and Interview Skills. This is in preparing STI's graduating students to the real world.

It was a success considering that almost 85% of the graduating class attended and discovered something about the importance of E2E system of STI and learned about the Alumni Association of the school as well.

After a tiring career guidance at Pavia and Maasin National High, we decided to relax and dine at a new resto/pasalubong center at an intersection at Pavia, Carlitos, a branch of Biscocho Haus- a famous Pasalubong Center in Iloilo. Toyota Land Cruiser Prado!

I took pride when I told my colleagues that I am going to ride Toyota Land Cruiser Prado in going to Pavia National High School and Maasin National High School last March 16, 2009. So, off we go to Pavia for the career guidance. Everything went smoothly until the time that were about to leave for Maasin High.

The pride of STI- Iloilo Utility department- the Toyota Prado began to conked out. Mr. Jovel Claud decided to ask help from the students to push the "Prado" in order to start up.

My gosh, imagine how embarrassing it was! We arrived with so much pride that we are riding a Toyota Prado but after the talk it was a disaster! Grrrr...

I love you goodbye!

Giving him all my love is never an assurance that he'll love me back!
Some people are just not meant to be in my life, no matter how much I want them to be...
I hug him goodbye like it's nothing...
While all I want to do is hold on forever...
I used to smile when I told people that he is mine...
But now, I can't even smile and say his name at the same time...
As much as I love him,
I have to say goodbye
Coz I know he would be happier if i let him go...
Missing him isn't the hardest part, knowing I once had him, is what
breaks my heart.
I'll never forget the times we once shared,
And I'll always remember how much he once cared,
Now it's over, it's time to move on...
It's never easy to see him turning back...
But I have to take the pain...
And cry all the way home coz I know it will never be the same...
I know when he leave, distance will keep us apart...
But distance, no matter how far,
Can't change these feelings in my heart...

Tints of STI College Iloilo at the President's Cup at Antique!

In color theory, a tint is the mixture of a color with white, which increases lightness.

Last March 9- 11, 2009, STI- Iloilo tinted the event with lightness because of the fun, camaraderie and sportsmanship they showed to everyone! I want to share with everyone the fun, excitement and tension that we experienced at the President's Cup 2009 at Antique.

The President' Cup 2009

The President's Cup is an annual sports event of STI College schools owned by Mr. Francis R. Benedicto that includes STI- Antique, Bacolod Main, Bacolod Annex and Iloilo.

This year's host is STI Antique, the main reason why we are in Antique for the past three days.

It started with a parade of delegates and officials from STI Antique campus to Binirayan Sports Complex. At around 11 am the opening ceremony started. It was so hot that everybody was so restless but eventually it ended earlier as expected.

The first game was between STI Bacolod Main and Bacolod Annex which the former won. It was followed by a basketball showdown of faculty and staff, then the 2nd game between STI Antique and Iloilo. Of course, Iloilo won in that match.

Outside the main gymnasium, the Volleyball women of Iloilo were battling Antique and of course they won that battle.

The 2nd day was quite hectic because games was continuous. The 1st game was between Iloilo and Bacolod Annex were Iloilo won. Iloilo volleybelles were not as lucky as the basketeers as they face defending champion Bacolod Annex.

Next game in Volleyball was between Iloilo and Bacolod Main, another blow to the team because they suffer their second loss. Inside the gym, Iloilo is battling Bacolod Main, just in time with my grand entrance, a tension-filled happening occurred inside the court. Our very own Harley Mendoza and a certain Mr. Fabila from Bacolod Main was about to engaged in a fist-fight. It was a tension-filled game that the management decided to stop the game and giving the first win to Bacolod-Main.

P.S. It was the championship round already. Best of three series. The reason why everyone was taking it seriously.

OH MY GOSH! To be continued...
